Things that first seem inconsequential often make wonderful stories because it turns out that they really ARE important to us, unlike many of the "big" stories that are shared so often like graduations or marriages.
Here is a list of some of the story ideas I came up with in class a couple of weeks ago:
- Doing things the wrong way.
- Doing things for the right reason.
- Failing.
- Mundane but precious moments.
- Becoming you.
- Stories that no one has ever heard before.
- Going into offices simply to take a couple of pieces of candy from the bowl on their desk.
